Besides fighting your way through the Dreadnaught, there’s still plenty new places that the Taken can crawl out of in Destiny: The Taken King.

In Destiny: The Taken King the new enemy foes can show up in three of the older Strikes: Dust Palace, Undying Mind, and Cerberus Vae.

The Taken King

The Taken will randomly show up during the Strikes and try to overwhelm your Fireteam. In the screenshot above, Taken spawned where normally you would fight Valus Ta’aurc’s tank in the Cerberus Vae Strike Mission — effectively switching up the entire boss encounter.

There are other various changes in this particular Strike as well. Before you get to the main boss door, you may find a spot to plant a beacon. Here, your Ghost will summon a turret to help you annihilate the Cabal or Taken in front of you. Though, even with the remixes, the bosses in the Strike remain the same.

Bungie also remixed Strikes for more tactical choices and more action, making Strikes less time consuming. Also, if you decide to take on Strike playlists in Destiny: The Taken King, you will improve your loot chances by staying in the playlist rotation.
