With Bethesda’s over-the-top E3 conference blowing people away with all sorts of Fallout goodness, the hype has already started to bring out the creativity within the community.

In this case, a Fallout super fan has sent Bethesda 2,240 bottle caps in hopes they would take it in exchange for a pre-order copy of Fallout 4.

If you’re new to the series, bottle caps are used as a form of currency within the Fallout franchise. You can use them to buy goods, barter, and trade in the post-apocalyptic world.

Fallout 3 was my favorite game for several years, so I made the rational choice to start saving up bottle caps,” said Reddit user GatorMacheteJr, who is behind this first of a kind attempt at buying a game,  “turns out 4.5 years of undergrad and 3 years in a Master’s program leads to a lot of drinking. It ended up being 11.2 pounds of bottle caps. You don’t want to know how much it cost to ship to Maryland.”

“I’m hoping if this post gets popular enough their PR department will be too nervous to turn me down,” GatorMacheteJr added. Bethesda has yet to comment on his attempt to acquire the game so far, but I’m sure we’ll hear from them soon.

Fallout 4 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this November 10. And from the looks of it, if you’re interested in buying the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition, you might be out of luck, as Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy, and even the Bethesda Store have completely sold out.
