The trailer, which you can check out below, revealed that both Tetra and the King of Hyrule will be added to the game’s roster. Tetra will be able to attack enemies with both her cutlass and her pistol, which has a surprisingly wide arc and some range. Meanwhile, the King of Hyrule will be able to turn into the boat from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

The trailer also revealed that players will be able to use the touchscreen to keep an eye on the map, and they’ll be able to switch characters on the fly, as well.

The end also revealed that Hyrule Warriors 3DS will have some compatibility with the Wii U version. Judging from the last frame, which you can see below, it appears that players will have to link the two games to unlock Tetra and the King of Hyrule in the Wii U version.

The trailer didn’t reveal if the game will be exclusive to the new model 3DS XL like Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS was.

Koei Tecmo also recently announced that Western gamers will not be receiving the Hyrule Warrior themed costumes that Japanese gamers will get with Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3.
