The first DLC character for Mortal Kombat X happens to be a pre-order bonus, and what a bonus he is! Goro is available to use in all of his four-armed, fire breathing, Shokan glory. He is immensely powerful, if not a bit slow. But, his speed is something he more than makes up for with brute force. He mows through opponents as if they were made of putty, and it is a thing of beauty. You can fine tune the carnage by choosing one of his three variations.

Tigrar Fury

This variation has Goro embracing the dragon half of his Shokan heritage. You know what makes a powerful four-armed brute even deadlier? How about fire breathing. Yeah, you read that correctly. Goro goes all Bowser in this form as he takes on bright burning spots on his back and the ability to burn his enemies after beating them to a bloody pulp.

Kuatan Warrior

You know what Goro has been missing this whole time? A ground pound attack to send anyone within the area up into the air, because an overpowered monstrosity needs more advantages. Oh, and throw in a nice charge attack just in case the opponent happens to slip away.

Dragon Fangs

Throw some bladed gauntlets on Goro and he becomes a huge, frightening blender. Seriously, this variation makes all of his attacks a bit sharper making sure nobody wants to be on the end of one Goro’s many combos.

Of course, there would be no way that the folks over at Netherrealm would include Goro and not give him some over-the-top Fatalities and Brutalities. Here is how to pull off each and every one of them so you have a handy list right next to you as you do battle. The game was played on a PlayStation 4, so the buttons shown reflect those of a DualShock. Since Fatalaties and Brutalites are the same across all platforms just swap out Square, Triangle, X, and Circle for their matching counterparts on your keyboard or Xbox controller.

Goro’s Fatalites:

  1. Peek-A-Boo: (Close-range) Back, Forward, Down, Circle
  2. Shokan Amputation: (Close-range) Back, Down, Down, Up

Goro’s Brutalities:

  1. Speed Bag: Down, Back, Right, X
  2. Krush: Down, Up + R2
  3. Chest Bump: Back, Forward, Triangle
  4. Tail Spin: Down, Back, Triangle + R2
  5. Shokan Flame: Back, Forward, Triangle + R2

There you have it. Go forth and wreak havoc upon anyone who dares to challenge you. For more guides, tips, tricks, and information concerning Mortal Kombat X be sure to check out our handy wiki and click over here if you want to see everyone else’s fatalities and brutalities.
