Sony Online Entertainment’s survival MMO, H1Z1 was officially released earlier this week on Steam Early Access to an eager crowd. Some people are enjoying the game, others saying that the pay-to-win model behind it is a bit too greedy. Here’s a roundup of opinions on the game via Twitter.
It’s the little things.

If there’s no karaoke in the post-apocalyptic world, what do we have to live for…?

You definitely have a variety of choices when it comes to Early Access zombie survival games.
I honestly give it a few weeks before the whole h1z1 craze dies down. It's a pay to win game that barley works just stick with DayZ.

That’s one way to do it.

Others are drawing parallels with WarZ.
I want competition to DayZ; WarZ was a complete failure because of P2W features and an awful dev team but H1Z1 is on that same rocky road.

Starving is never fun.
The map in #H1Z1 is way to small for the amount of people on the server so there is no loot. I keep dieing of hunger.

Well that definitely sounds like a survival game…
I should check on my homie on #H1Z1, he's currently starving in a makeshift base I made out of an abandoned trailer park.

Many are upset with the H1Z1 devs.
What not to do in marketing a game: Tell your audience one thing and then completely back out because money. Be transparent people. #H1Z1

And for others, the game has literally turned their world upside down.
