The 5 Biggest Announcements from Sony’s Paris Games Week 2017 Conference

Not for the squeamish, Naughty Dog’s shockingly brutal cinematic story trailer for The Last of Us Part II was another glorious tone piece that has surely sent fans into a fever pitch of excitement. As was the original reveal back at E3, the setting, characters, and nature of the story remain vague and mysterious. We don’t really know what we’re seeing, but we do know that it looks utterly gorgeous and tees up some wonderful possibilities with respect to the potential direction of the game’s story.

Whatever shape the story takes, Naughty Dog’s latest title is certainly looking promising. The real question is whether we’re likely to see gameplay anytime soon and how far The Last of Us II is from store shelves.
