Splatoon 2: How to Change Clothes and Outfits

Gotta look fresh.

Changing Clothes and Outfits in Splatoon 2

Recommended Videos

As you level up in Splatoon 2, you’ll gain access to a wider variety of customization options and outfits to choose from. Of course, once you’ve actually ponied up the cash for all of these new pieces of clothing, you’ll want to equip them.

To change your avatar’s clothes, simply bring up the main menu by pressing the + button whenever you’re out of an online match or single-player challenge. From here, you’ll be able to see all of the clothing you currently have on your head, body, and legs. You can then use the d-pad to swap between the clothing tabs and also see all of the available clothing you’ve unlocked for your character. All you have to do is select the piece of clothing that you want to equip, and then press the B button on the Switch. Remember that some of the clothing pieces have different perks that could help you out in battle as well, so make sure to take a look at those before removing or equipping clothing.
