How to Find Memory Prisms and What They Do in Fire Emblem Echoes

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia adds on a few new features, ones that weren’t even present in the original game, Fire Emblem Gaiden. One of those features is Mila’s Turnwheel, a mysterious device that lets you turn back time in battle and see events of the past outside of it.

Memory Prisms are items that unlock events of the past from the world of Fire Emblem Echoes. These are short story scenes that reveal bits and pieces of story that provide more history or context. Luckily, they’re fairly easy to spot and find. You should be examining and searching each and every area in Fire Emblem Echoes already, but you’ll need to do so to find Memory Prisms. You need to watch out for areas that are sparkling while you’re examining somewhere, they’re fairly large and easy to spot as long as you know what to look for. Once you spot one, simply move your cursor over the prism and click on it. The Memory Prisms are generally associated with locations that are impactful or important to the story.

Once you’ve found a Memory Prism, just head to the main menu and use Mila’s Turnwheel. Select the Memory Prism option and you be able to view any of the past events you’ve found.
