Sometimes, the order of anime arcs can be slightly confusing, leaving you to wonder when certain episodes occur and what story they cover.

And while Demon Slayer is more linear than others, it’s still nice to know the order, especially when it pertains to figuring out how much is still left to be adapted. Here is everything you need to know about all the Demon Slayer Arcs in order.

Season three (Swordsmith Village Arc) wrapped up on June 18, 2023, and fans have waited for what’s next. Fortunately, it was announced recently that season four (Hashira Training Arc) starts on May 12, 2024.

Assuming no extra filler is added, the story is almost wrapped up, with only one major arc left to adapt in a fifth season. However, considering the size and importance of the story remaining, it is entirely possible it will also be split into a sixth season.

While it is certainly possible that filler can be added in, it’s not likely, as we haven’t seen any significant changes from the source material in the anime so far. Three Demon Slayer novels that flesh out the world have been released. All of their contained stories take place before the end of the manga, so they don’t contain any massive spoilers.

Signs from the Wind

The stories in this novel take place before the first arc in the story and then somewhere before Mugen Train.

The Flower of Happiness

There’s nothing as complex to character backstories as Signs from the Wind. Just about everything happens sometime between the Tsuzume Mansion and Rehabilitation Arcs.

One-Winged Butterfly

It makes sense to read One-Winged Butterfly and The Flower of Happiness together as they cover roughly the same time period.
