With the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film prequel getting announced for U.S and Canadian theaters just last month, it seems like the perfect time to strike while the iron is hot for the series and announce season 2. That is exactly what the series official Twitter account did earlier this week, revealing that the sophomore season of this curse-hunting epic would be coming in 2023.

While there isn’t an exact release window for Jujutsu Kaisen season two quite yet, you can check out the tweet for yourself down below for a bit more context.

For anyone that hasn’t seen the anime, Jujutsu Kaisen is a story about a group of individuals, known as Jujutsu Sorcerers, who hunt down beings that only desire to harm humanity. One of those characters is Yuji Itadori: an lovable, aloof high school student that finds himself possessed by a powerful Curse called Ryomen Sukuna after a slew of unfortunate mishaps.

In order to survive, Yuji must now hunt down and ingest the fingers of Sukuna while growing his powers and defeating various other powerful curses and curse users along the way.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s debut season is available on Crunchyroll and HBO Max, featuring a total of 25 episodes.
