Overwatch League Stage 1 Week 3: Schedule, Standings, Results, Who Won

Seoul vs. New York will be the match to watch.

The Overwatch League’s inaugural season is finally underway. From now until the week of June 17, we’ll be seeing matches every Wednesday to Saturday, with three matches taking place each day. The regular season is broken into four stages, and all wins and losses will determine each team’s seeding for the championship playoffs in the postseason, which starts on June 17. The team that emerges as the champion of the League will take home a trophy and one million dollars in prize money.

We’ll be updating this post with the map results for each match-up, along with the team standings as the week goes on, so be sure to check back for more up-to-date information.

This week’s match-ups are going to be quite as exciting as we’ll have two of the best Korean rosters facing off, with the Seoul Dynasty and New York Excelsior going head-to-head on Friday. The Dallas Fuel gets a slightly easier schedule this week as well against the Shock and Uprising, so hopefully we’ll be able to see them come away with their first win.

In the meantime, Shanghai Dragons has been lagging behind the rest of the competition, but with new coaching staff inbound and the team manager’s promise to work on their weaknesses, hopefully we’ll see them step it up a bit. They’re probably not going to stand a chance against Seoul, but we’d like to see them put up a good fight against the Fusion.
