One of Microsoft’s newest IPs had a rather successful launch on the Xbox One, yet the title had some noticeable performance problems on computers. First noted by Eurogamer, Quantum Break was unable to actually reach 60 fps on a high-end computer and was stuttering even when tested across multiple computers and graphics cards. Another major issue came in the form of the actual visual quality, which was far more optimized for a television than a monitor. This resulted in players having to suffer from a blurry images up close, while console users who are farther away enjoyed a crisper and cleaner appearance.

There were also minor issues such as Quantum Break lacking an actual quit button or the game suffering from a variety of crashes. Normally this wouldn’t have been as big of a deal if this wasn’t Microsoft’s flagship IP that was exclusive for both Xbox One and Windows 10. Thankfully, Microsoft has either addressed or fixed most of the known problems that plagued this title’s release.
