It’s been two years since the last Dragon Age title, but fans have been clamoring for a new title pretty much since Tresspasser arrived last year. BioWare is, of course, at hard work on Mass Effect: Andromeda, but producer Mark Darrah seems to be indicating that the fantasy series will see a return in the near future.
For the past couple of hours, he’s been tweeting photos of things related to the Dragon Age universe, such as the Inquisitor’s helmet, a sword, and the symbol for the Chantry.
Spoilers for Dragon Age: Inquistion and its Trespasser DLC below.
Despite the many, many comments on his tweets asking to expand upon these images, so far neither Darrah nor BioWare have said anything relating to the matter. Given that Dragon Age Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC ended with the Inquisitor deciding to head to Tevinter to gain allies in the fight against Solas (who was revealed to be the Dread Wolf), there’s plenty for the studio to work with for a sequel. Or maybe it’s a spinoff title meant to hold fans over until the next proper entry.
Or maybe this all just means nothing and Darrah got caught up in himself.
