A solid plan of attack.
Hello Games is reassuring fans that they’re listening to No Man’s Sky player feedback. Today’s post on Hello Game’s official site seems to address concerns that and complaints from fans about the lack of communication since the game’s release.
“Over the last few weeks since No Man’s Sky released we’ve been inundated with feedback and discussion about No Man’s Sky. No matter what feedback you gave us, you have been heard and we are listening carefully. Thank you,” said the post.
No Man’s Sky first few weeks have been bumpy. Some fans of the game pre-release feel blindsided or wronged over the game’s broken promises, and many have requested (and some even gotten) refunds. So much so, that the game’s Steam release needed a patch to address its refund policy. All the while, Hello Games has been relatively quiet; presumably hunkered down working on the game’s many technical issues with the four patches since release.
Hello Games, above all else, wants fans to know that No Man’s Sky is still a work in progress, and will be releasing free updates that adds new features. But first, they want to make sure the game runs as it should. “What matters now, as always, is what we do rather than what we say. We’re developers, and our focus is first on resolving any issues people have with the game as it is, then on future free updates which will improve, expand and build on the No Man’s Sky universe.”
