Grandmaster
What’s worse than fighting Sub-Zero, a man that can literally freeze you dead in your tracks? How about Sub-Zero plus a clone? Luckily, his Grandmaster variation only allows him to make clone statues, but they can still be used against any opponents who become a bit too ambitious. Set them up to keep fighters from teleporting behind Sub-Zero or put one up in the nick of time to freeze someone charging in from the front. You can also just throw the clone at them if you’re feeling a bit destructive.

Cryomancer
Same blue ninja, same cold powers. This time, Sub-zero has the ability to make weapons out of ice to coldly bash your skulls in thanks to his Cryomancer variation. Conjure up devastating Frost Hammers to decimate Sub-Zero’s adversaries.

Unbreakable
The ultimate defense is granted to Sub-Zero during his Unbreakable variation. Barriers made out of ice and chilling auras round out the move-set allowing Sub-Zero to go on the offensive with little risk to himself. Sub-Zero essentially becomes a walking ice tank. A tank that happens to be able to jump around and kick the snot out of any who cross it.

Brutalities:

X-Ray (L2+R2 when meter is full)
Sub-Zero’s X-Ray is triggered by a short distance shoulder rush attack. It is good at catching enemies off-guard, but it doesn’t have the best range. Make sure not to try this attack if there is a sizable gap between Sub-Zero and his unwanted friend.
