Johnny Cage’s Fisticuffs variation provides players with the classic Cage experience. Here, you get Johnny Cage in all his human glory, complete with an insane ego in the form of flashy combos. For those looking for a bit of nostalgia, this is the variation for you.

Low Forceball: Down, Forward, Triangle

High Forceball: Down, Back, Triangle

Flipkick: Down, Back, Circle

Nut Punch: Back, Down, X

Shadow Kick: Back, Forward, Circle

Fist Bump: Back, Forward, Square

Stunt Double

No action movie star as concerned about their looks as Johnny Cage is would ever do anything without a trusty stunt double, and that’s exactly what this variation has in store. Use mimics to distract opponents, or bait them into attacks. Definitely useful against extra defensive players, allowing Johnny Cage to create some much needed openings.

Nut Punch: Back, Down, X

Shadow Kick: Back, Forward, Circle

Straight Forceball: Down, Back, Triangle

Rising Shadow: Down, Back, Square

Mimic: Down, Back, Circle

A-List

Johnny Cage’s A-List variation leverages his star power in combat. Where a normal fighter would have to rely on basic attacks and specials, this variation allows Johnny Cage to charge up his attacks with a bit of extra star power. Nothing like adding an extra bit of oomph when up against a formidable foe.

Low Forceball: Down, Forward, Triangle

High Forceball: Down, Back, Triangle

Nut Breaker: Back, Down, X

Flashy Shadow Kick: Back, Forward, Circle

Rising Kick: Down, Back, Circle

X-Ray and Finishers

Fatalities:

  1. (Close Range) Back, Forward, Back, Forward, Square
  2. (Mid-range) Forward, Back, Forward, forward

Brutalities:

  1. Back, Down + X

X-Ray (L2+R2 when meter is full)

Johnny Cage’s X-Ray attack begins with an overhead kick at a relatively close range. Don’t trigger from too far, and it is also useless against a high blocking opponent. Soften them up with a hit and immediately combo into the X-Ray to ensure a connection.
