Melee Attack – Dead Rising 4

As you explore Willamette with the ever-sarcastic Frank West, there’s a slight chance you’ll run into a couple thousand zombies on the way. Of course, Frank will always be able to find a weapon in his nearby surroundings somewhere to either blast or batter the undead to the floor.

In order to melee attack in Dead Rising 4, it’s actually incredibly simple. All you need to do is press the X button on your Xbox One controller and this will make Frank wildly swing whatever melee weapon you have equipped around him. As long as the undead are within close proximity to you, chances are Frank’s gonna put an end to them pretty quickly. It’s worth noting, however, that if a zombie is coming up from behind, you may need to adjust the way Frank is facing to ensure that his swing catches them. Being blindsided by a zombie is never going to end well, so be sure to keep an eye on what’s creeping up behind Frank.

And that’s all you need to know about the basics of performing a melee attack in Dead Rising 4.
