The Crew: How to Play with Friends

Everything's better when you play with friends!
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

The Crew is a racer, yes, but it’s also got MMO elements at heart, too. Therefore, to get the most enjoyment out of the game, you’re going to want to jump online with your friends. Here’s how to do just that.

When you’ve loaded up your game, all you need to do is push the right analog stick in (R3) and it brings up the list of players. From here, use the R1/ RB and L1/ LB buttons to scroll through to your friends. Find the friend you want from this list, push X/A on their name and you should now see the option to invite them to your Crew.

Once you’ve sent the invite, your friend should now receive a notification stating that you want to play with them. All they have to do is simply accept the invitation and they will be transported into your world. Now all you have to do is find one another in the huge virtual United States of America in The Crew and you can race, drift, and crash into each other to your heart’s content.

That’s all there is to it. Having any problems trying to join a game with your friends? Sound off in the comments below and we’ll try and get back to you.
