How to Do a Rage Attack in Tekken 7

Recommended Videos

One of the new mechanics in Tekken 7 are Rage Arts which allow you to pull off a Rage attack when your back is against the wall and your health is down. Of course, since you tend to start glowing during panic moments, it can be easy to forget how to do the attack you want. There are several ways you can take care of this.

The first is to check your moves list. The command for each Tekken 7 character’s Rage attack is at the top of the list. You can just input whatever it says and you’re good to go. However, if you want something easier, you can map Rage Arts to any button no your controller. I personally have it mapped to R3 on my DualShock 4 which requires that I just click in the right stick and the powerful move is triggered. During the story, it is defaulted to R1/RB, but some players tend to prefer to use those buttons for other combinations. At the end of the day, the choice is yours to what input you want to assign your Rage attack to. Just make sure to remember which button it is and show your opponents how dangerous a fighter backed against a wall can really be.

Do remember that you can’t use a Rage attack if you’re not enraged. You can tell when you are because both your health bar and your character will start go glow red. This ups your damage, but you can trade it all for one big attack that deals a ton of damage (about 30% of a health bar).
