What to Do With Pinwheels in South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Recommended Videos

As you walk around the snowy town of South Park in The Fractured But Whole, you’ve probably noticed a bunch of little pinwheels scattered all over the place. These aren’t just there to give the town a more lighthearted feel, they’re actually something you’ll need to interact with if you want to find all of the secrets tucked away in the game.

Pinwheels in South Park: The Fractured But Whole can be interacted with by holding L2 (LT on Xbox One) and moving your reticle over them. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to have unlocked the Fartkour buddy ability. This will unlock fairly early on in the game, so don’t worry about missing it.

Once you’ve unlocked the ability, simply use the d-pad when holding down L2/ LT to select the Kite option. Then, hold down X (A on Xbox One) and a silhouette of a buddy will appear nearby. Head over to this and press X/ A once more to call Kyle. Now, you’ll use your Fartkour skills to make it to a formerly out of reach high place. These normally contain a Coon and Friends chest or some other form of loot or collectible.

That’s all you need to know about the pinwheels in South Park: The Fractured But Whole. For more on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
