Rime: How to Sprint

HOW TO SPRINT IN RIME

Recommended Videos

Rime is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC and you’ll want to explore the island in the game as fast as you can so that you can solve puzzles and see everything the world has to offer.

Sprinting allows you to run around between areas and between puzzle locations. Thankfully, you can get your character to sprint but, strangely, there is no specific button that you press to sprint. Pressing R3 or repeatedly tapping a button doesn’t make him run faster, as it would in other games. Instead, once you’ve been moving him around with the left stick for a couple of seconds he’ll start to move faster and will automatically start running. That speed is as fast as you can make him run.

Unfortunately, there is no sprint level above this but it is more than quick enough to get around the island even without a dedicated input for the action. That is quite helpful however, because it gives you a chance to focus on the beauty of the island and the puzzles themselves rather than how quickly you are moving between areas.
