Dark Souls III Ships 3 Million Copies Worldwide, Whole Series Surpasses 13 Million

Bandai Namco recently announced their shipping numbers, revealing that Dark Souls III has shipped a total of 3 million copies worldwide since the Japanese launch back in March, and the English launch on April 12. As a whole, the Dark Souls series has surpassed 13 million copies shipped worldwide as well.

For Dark Souls III, 500,000 copies were shipped in Japan and Asia, 1.5 million copies were shipped in North America, and the remaining 1 million copies were shipped in Europe. The series sure has come a long way since the inception of Demon’s Souls back on the PS3.
