Update: Telltale Games has now confirmed that episode three will release on September 19.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2’s second episode has finally released today, continuing the adventure of Jesse and Co. as they take on the colossal Admin. This second episode has a lot of action going on and it’s incredibly easy to get drawn into the it, only for the credits to roll just as you’re really getting into things. As such, many players are probably wondering when the episode 3 release date is.

Currently, Telltale Games has yet to announced a release date for episode 3 of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2. However, considering there was only a one month gap between the first and second episodes releasing, we think there’s a good chance we’ll get episode 3 in September.

It’s worth noting, however, that Telltale Games currently has three series on the go. Alongside Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2, the developer is also currently in the middle of its Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy series, and just started its Batman: The Enemy Within episodic adventure, too. As such, there’s always a possibility that the wait may be a little longer than usual for the next episode.

As soon as we hear anything about a release date for Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 episode 3, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
