Is Detroit: Become Human Coming to PC?
Detroit: Become Human is the next title from David Cage and Quantic Dream, the makers of Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Indigo Prophecy. The game uses the studio’s trademark interactive design, and takes the setting to a futuristic version of the city Detroit. It’s a thriller that has you playing as multiple different characters across the city, all of which happen to be androids. Depending on the choices you make along the way, these characters can actually die, and the story will continue along without them.
With such an ambitious sounding game, many people wondered if we’d see the game on anything besides the PlayStation 4, which is was announced for. Unfortunately, there’re no plans for a PC version of the game at the moment. If anything happens to be announced for PC we’ll update this page with the info, but at the moment we don’t even have a firm release date at all.
The title is bigger than anything Quantic Dream has ever done in the past, with studio head David Cage telling gameindustry.biz in an interview, ” I’ve just finished the script for Detroit. It took me more than two years, and that’s working around six days a week. It’s probably 20 times more complex than anything we’ve ever done. It’s a lot for one brain to handle.
For now you’ll just have to plan on picking it up for console. Detroit: Become Human is currently scheduled to release sometime in 2017, exclusively for the PS4.
