How to Skip Cutscenes in FIFA 18

Recommended Videos

FIFA 18’s Hunter Returns game mode has a bunch of cutscenes that fill in the plot in between playing matches and attending training sessions. Of course, the story in Hunter Returns is its defining trait, so we don’t advise skipping cutscenes that you haven’t seen before. However, sometimes, you may find after loading your save that your progress was saved before a cutscene and not after.

If this happens, then all you need to do to skip the cutscene is hold down Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One. You should then see the button prompt appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and a blue circle will begin forming around it. Keep the button held down until the circle is complete and the cutscene will skip.

Unfortunately, this method of skipping cutscenes won’t work on the little introduction to FIFA 18 between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid that you eventually assume control of. You’ll just have to sit through this and enjoy the pretty visuals until it’s your time to jump into the action.

That’s all you need to know to skip cutscenes in Hunter Returns. For more on FIFA 18, be sure to check out our wiki.
