The Elder Scrolls Online Console Enhanced Preview Looks Gorgeous

In order to get fans ready for its June port, Bethesda Softworks revealed a preview for the console enhanced edition of Elder Scrolls Online earlier today. The video shows off all of the improvements that the next-generation version of the game will receive, even going as far as to show comparisons to the previous version via a moving slider.

As you can see in the video above, the Console Enhanced version of ESO looks signification better on multiple fronts. Those changes include enhanced reflections, advanced lighting and shadows, unlock textures, fidelity and performance modes, improved anti-aliasing, and upgraded ambient occlusion and SSGI.

It is also worth noting that this upgrade is set to cut load times for both current-gen consoles thanks to the speed of their SSDs. That means you won’t have to wait around forever for the game to load in anymore.

Elder Scrolls Online Console Enhanced version will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on June 8. Anyone who is currently playing the title on PS4 or Xbox One will also be eligible to upgrade the game on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S for no extra cost to anyone who has purchased one of the new consoles.
