Is Persona 5 Coming to PC?

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Persona 5 is the highly anticipated RPG from Atlus that fans on PS4 and PS3 will finally be able to get their hands on come Feb. 14 of next year in North America and Europe (it’s already available in Japan). However, there are some fans who would love to be able to play the game on PC, so the question stands: will Persona 5 come to PC?

The answer to that question is, unfortunately, no. Back in April, the official site for the game was hacked, adding in PC as a platform and even giving a fake release date. Atlus USA PR Manager John Hardin quickly took to Twitter to state that it was fake. When asked by a fan if a version on the platform was even possible, Hardin replied “everything I’ve heard says it’s not going to happen.” He then went on to add that Persona 5 heading to the Xbox One was “equally as unlikely.”

For now, there is a petition  to bring the game to PCs that has just over 3,000 supporters, which is 2,000 shy of its goal. Atlus has yet to revisit the request or even make a comment as they focus on delivering the game to the Western world early next year.
