Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and Yakuza Kiwami Are Both Coming West

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and Yakuza Kiwami are both coming to the west on PlayStation 4, as announced in today’s PlayStation Experience keynote. A short trailer for the two games were shown as well as release windows, we’ll add in the announcement trailer as soon as it’s up.

Yakuza Kiwami will be launching sometime during summer 2017. Kiwami is actually a full-blown remake of the original PS2 game, adding in new story and completely overhauling the game’s mechanics.

Yakuza 6 on the other hand is the next entry in the series and Kazuma Kiryu’s story. It’s currently schedule for a release sometime in 2018.
