Total War: Warhammer Release Day Deals Up to 22% off

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Today Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer went live on Steam. If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing, perhaps a discount might be the one push you’d need to join in. If that’s the case, or if you’re cheap and feel ripped off paying full price, three discounts have been spotted up to 22% off. Not bad for the games launch date.

DLGamer has the largest percentage price break off the bat at 22% off. The deal will run four more days, ending after Friday, May 27th. No coupons or other hassles to worry about with DLG, just straight up instant savings. While the Chaos Warriors DLC pack was only meant to be a pre-order offer, it appears Sega has went with a quick update: as of writing as long as you buy within release week, you’ll also receive the DLC for free at authorized distributors.

GamesPlanet is a great alternative in the UK with an 18% drop to £32.99. While they only show a British Pound price you can buy worldwide and that means it’s even better in the US. A favorable conversion ration makes the discount about $47.78 in Dollars (20.5% off).

Green Man Gaming has a 20% off coupon code slashing $12 off the $60 price. The code doesn’t have an expiration date as far as we know, and is likely to keep the price down for some time. After DLGamer and GamesPlanet’s promotional instant savings end, this discount may be the best price online.

Is Total War: Warhammer worth buying with the discount? The game is doing pretty well in the review department with a compiled score of 86/100 on Metacritic, so this could easily be a push some gamers need to hop on board the Total War train.
