The trailer features protagonist Makoto Karaki (played by Kanata Hongo) in the hotel room that is said to be the setting for the beginning of the game.

We also get a glimpse at police officer Akane Sachimura, played by Kill Bill Volume 1 actress Chiaki Kuriyama.

We also get the announcement that the soundtrack will be composed by Masafumi Takada.

You may know his work on the Danganronpa series, The Evil Within, Vanquish, killer7, No More Heroes, and many more.

The press release also included a comment by Takada-sensei himself:

“Because this is my first experience joining an FMV game, it has been fun to work on the project every day.

I would be very happy if the players would listen to the sound of the project. Thank you very much.”

The game is described by Izanagi Games as an “authentic full-motion video game” mixing gameplay and live-action. It will include multiple endings depending on the choices made by players.

Platforms, release dates (besides a generic 2020), and additional information about Death Come True are still shrouded in mystery.
