Campo Santo Is Bringing Firewatch to the Switch

Campo Santo’s critically acclaimed indie adventure game, Firewatch, is coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime this spring, the company announced today via Twitter. Soon, you’ll be able to play as fire lookout, Henry, and explore the wilderness of Wyoming, all on the go with the Switch.

Firewatch takes place in 1989 and throws you into the shoes as a man named Henry, who has escaped from a somewhat complicated life back at home and has decided to volunteer as a fire lookout. The only person that he has contact with is his superior, a woman named Delilah. The two of them communicate via walkie-talkie and you end up having to answer some pretty tough questions that will make or break Henry and Delilah’s unique relationship. The game plays similarly to other “walking simulators” like Gone Home and What Remains of Edith Finch, but you find tools along the way that will help you navigate around the park grounds and uncover mysteries that were never meant to be discovered.

Firewatch is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, and will be out for the Switch sometime this Spring season. Campo Santo’s newest title, In the Valley of Gods, is currently scheduled for a 2019 release.
