Where To Find AQ Laptops in DMZ

AQ Laptop Locations are among DMZ players' FAQ.

DMZ Character Dropping In To Al Mazrah Activision

Since Warzone Season 4 launched and brought huge changes to missions, factions and items, AQ Laptops have been one of the most in-demand items in all of DMZ. Here’s how to get and where to find them in Warzone DMZ.

AQ Laptops Locations in Warzone DMZ

Unfortunately, there are no known guaranteed spawns for AQ Laptops in DMZ. That means we don’t have a single location players can flock to in order to ensure they come back with one in their contraband.

It means there’s no way to escape the RNG element that comes with finding them. Players will need to loot, explore and search for the rare laptops. Thankfully, we do know of one location where they can always be found, if you’re willing.

In Warzone Season 5, the best place to find AQ Laptops is the Koschei Complex. This underground area was introduced with Season 3 Reloaded. It’s a sprawling maze of laboratories, defence centers and radiation bunkers underneath the Al Mazrah map. Players access the Complex by entering via one of four points on Al Mazrah.

There have been reports of players finding AQ Laptops in and around the entrance points (more on these shortly). We haven’t found any dotted around the POIs you enter the Complex from, but it’s certainly worth scavenging and searching if you’re going into the underground POI anyway.

Specifically, there’s been reports of players finding the laptops in Rohan Oil and Oasis. What players can do, as the map below shows, is begin at Rohan Oil, move to Taraq Village and then over to Oasis. All three have entrances to the Complex so are worth searching.

Naturally, the spawn you’re given might make this harder, or necessitate that you go in a slightly different order.

Koschei Complex Entrances Al Mazrah

As previously mentioned, there’s four entrance points to the Complex, all of which are on the Al Mazrah Exclusion Zone. They’re listed here, as well as being shown on the Al Mazrah map below:

  • Southwest of Oasis, underneath the desert ruins
  • South of Al Mazrah City, underneath the parking lot
  • Via the Taraq Road Bridge, east of Taraq Village
  • Rohan Oil Utility Tunnel, north of the tower area

Koschei Complex AQ Laptops

Once inside the airlock, players need to initiate travel to Koschei themselves. Ensure your whole team is inside – anyone who isn’t will be left behind.

Unfortunately, it’s not an easy location to loot because there’s a lot of enemy AI, sentry guns, radiation and even flooded areas to navigate. Make sure you’ve stocked up on healing items (Self-Revive Kits, Revive Pistols and Stims) and anti-Radiation items (Durable Gas Masks and Radiation Blockers) before you head inside.

In the Complex, you’ll essentially want to loot everywhere you can find. The side rooms, radiation bunkers and Alpha Cluster have all yielded AQ Laptops for us. They’re incredibly similar to the standard laptops found across DMZ’s Exclusion Zones, although they’re darker in color and have a slightly higher value too.

The image below shows one we found in the Defense Research Division, within a radiation bunker.

They’re most commonly found on the floor or on shelves, but players have reported finding them in Supply Crates and other loot boxes. Once you come across one, stow it in your backpack and get to your next objective (which might be searching for another laptop).

It might be worth taking Jumper Cables and Car Batteries too. These are required to jumpstart large doors that are blocking access to other areas of the Complex. They can be found in Gas Stations most frequently and will help you locate more AQ Laptops. They’re also needed for the Spetnaz Exposed mission too.

Those are the locations, methods and tips to finding and extracting AQ Laptops in Warzone DMZ. For everything else CoD’s extraction mode, stay with us and have a look at the related content below.
