How to Get Dragon Eggs in Valheim

Dragon Eggs are a large red/purple egg laid by Wyverns in Valheim. They are incredibly heavy to carry (200 in weight), which means that when you go looking for them you’ll need to have plenty of inventory space free.

However, since they are only located at the very top of your seed’s Mountains biome, you’ll also need to make sure you have warm clothes to prevent freezing. Since you’ll be fighting Moder, we highly recommend using the Full Wolf Armor, which will both keep you warm and offer excellent protection.

You’re essentially looking for the highest peaks in the Mountains biome, where you should see Wyverns flying or resting nearby. There’s no specific location we can really share with you given that all seeds in Valheim are unique, but after a little bit of exploration you should find some of these peaks fairly quickly.

You’ll also need to keep a lookout for Moder’s Altar itself since you will need to return here once you have found three Dragon Eggs. This will obviously require you to visit the Altar on three separate occasions given the weight of each egg.

As for fighting Moder, consider bringing along the Draugr Fang Bow and using Fire Arrows to attack him from range. The fight will last quite a while since Moder has a lot of HP, but his attacks are rather easy to avoid so just stay patient and keep chipping away.
