What Happens if You Eat the Bizarre Fruit in Sims 4 Strangerville

Recommended Videos

Sims 4 Strangerville is out now and what’s interesting is that this DLC has a story-centered structure as opposed to other DLC that are usually focused on just giving you more stuff to collect and do. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering what happens if you eat the Bizarre Fruit in Sims 4 Strangerville. Here’s what you need to know.

The Bizarre Fruit is an item that you’ll come across in Strangerville that you’ll have the opportunity to eat, if you’re brave enough. The first encounter with this fruit is when the town welcome wagon comes to greet you looking all weird and leaves you these fruits.

They can actually be confiscated by the men in black that come by right after, but you can eat it before they do.

If you decide to eat the Bizarre Fruit, what happens is that you’ll become possessed and become one of the infected that you see in Strangerville. This buff lasts about three hours, and you can’t really do much other than talk to others with strange communication options and run around like a total weirdo.

You will also acquire the “Infected” trait which means you’ll be getting the possessed buff again every couple of hours.

It’s actually pretty hysterical. Your sim will run around like Naruto if his head was no longer fully attached to his body and had no control of his arms.

There are other opportunities to become infected if you skip out on eating the Bizarre Fruit. Also, until you find a cure, the effect will come back eventually and you’ll be forced to look like a total dork again until it wears off.

That’s it for what happens if you eat the Bizarre Fruit in Sims 4 Strangerville. If you’re looking for more on The Sims, check out our massive collection of the best Sims 4 mods you can’t play without.
