How to Get Bananas & What They Do in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves comes out today for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, and offers players a giant world filled with tropical islands and a near-endless ocean to explore. As a pirate, either solo or with a crew, you will need to collect tools and items to be successful in your adventures. For example, bananas are a must-have for your inventory.

Bananas, which contain vitamin C and are important to a pirate’s diet to ward off scurvy, can restore a player’s health by 25% when used in Sea of Thieves. These fruits can be found from barrels located in random locations, such as on land or in ships. While a player can only carry up to five at a time, the specially marked “Banana Barrel” inside a player’s ship can hold up to 100 of the yellow fruit.

As such, it is important to stock up on bananas in case you get into a fight with another pirate gang and need to heal up fast in Sea of Thieves. Also be sure to steal from other players’ banana barrels when raiding enemy ships for an easy boost of supplies.

That is how to get bananas and what they do in the game. Check back with Twinfinite for more Sea of Thieves coverage and our extensive wiki for more guides.
