Islands of Nyne is the latest battle royale game to make it to early access in recent months. Unlike some of the other games in the market, it has more of a sci-fi vibe. On top of that, it’s purely an FPS rather than Third Person or some sort of hybrid. If you’re here, though, you’re likely playing already and are wondering how to change your fire rate for your Islands of Nyne weapons. Here’s exactly how you can do that!

To change your fire rate in Islands of Nyne, simply press X on your keyboard. If your weapon can change from auto, to single shot, or something else, pressing X will allow you to switch between those different options. This allows you to hit your opponents in unique ways that are special for the weapon you have equipped.
