GAP – God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Recommended Videos

GAP stands for Global Ability Points and works similarly to AP in God Eater 2: Rage Burst. Like AP, it is used to purchase Personal Abilities for your allies. The major difference is that GAP is universal, able to be used on any character. Unlike AP, you can earn these points without any companions join you. You’ll get a small amount of GAP (usually just one) each time you clear a mission for the first time. You can also obtain some when clearing Special Missions.

To use these points, head to a terminal and then select the Personal Abilities menu. From here you can look through available skills and perks that you can unlock for each of your allies. Not all can be unlocked with Global Ability Points, though. Usually only powerful abilities or certain outfits require this resource, so you should still use the characters you want to upgrade during play. That way, you’ll earn AP and GAP, ensuring that you can acquire any ability you desire for your favorite allies.
