All Battle Pass Week 5 Challenges in Fortnite Season 6

  • Eliminate an Opponent from Closer Than 5m Away (2)
  • Deal Damage with SMGs to Opponents (500)
  • Minigun Eliminations (2)
  • Stage 1: Deal Damage with Standard Pistols (200)
  • Stage 2: Deal Damage with Hand Cannons (200)
  • Stage 3: Deal Damage with Six Shooters (200)

It’s a fairly straightforward week, outside of having to jump through flaming hoops, and recording a speed of 27 or more on different radar signs. We’ve gone ahead and quickly run through each of these challenges below.

Record a Speed of 27 or More on Different Radar Signs

For this, you’re going to want to use the Quadcrasher. Its boost makes doing this particularly easy, so simply track one down, and then head to the radar signs locations listed in our guide there.

Jump Through Flaming Hoops (5)

Next up is the flaming hoops. We’ve done this before last season, and it’s back again in Season 6, albeit with new flaming hoops locations. Again, we’ve got a guide for all Season 6 flaming hoop locations, so check our guide, head there on a Quadcrasher, ATK, or shopping cart, and off you go.

Of course, the Quadcrasher again makes this easier, thanks to its ability to boost. This ensures you’ll have enough momentum to leave the ramp and jump through the hoop without falling short.

Deal Damage with Shotguns (200)

As we mentioned above, there are three stages to this challenge. Starting with Tactical Shotguns, you’ll need to deal out 200 damage. Then, you’ll need to do the same with the Pump Shotguns, and finally with the Heavy Shotguns.

All shotguns are lethal at close range, and you can rack up over 100 damage in a single headshot. As such, take your time, line up the shot, and aim for the head. It’s better than spamming shots and hoping you get any kind of connection.

Eliminate an Opponent from Closer Than 5m Away (2)

Best done in tandem with the other Fortnite week 5 challenge above. Get right up close to your opponent and blast them in the face. It doesn’t have to be with a shotgun, of course, if you prefer other weapons such as SMGs at close range, but it’s our preferred method of completing this challenge.

Deal Damage with SMGs to Opponents (500)

A simple deal damage with SMGs to opponents challenge. This includes your standard SMGs, as well as the rarer Compact SMGs in the game, too. The 500 damage required to complete this Fortnite week 5 challenge can be accrued over multiple games, so don’t stress too much about doing it all at once.

Minigun Eliminations (2)

The minigun is often used as a structure destroyer, especially in the late game, but Epic wants to see us eliminating players with it for the Fortnite challenges this week.

It’s actually not too bad, especially at range where you can often pepper your foe with fairly decent accuracy. Alternatively, play a Duos or Squads game and use the minigun to finish off downed enemies, should you be struggling.

Deal Damage with Pistols (200)

Finally, dealing damage with pistols is a straightforward as it sounds. Again, you’ll need to start off with the standard pistols, which aren’t too great. Dealing damage to downed enemies with a pistol is an easy way to clear this challenge. Once you’ve done that, it’s onto the Hand Cannons, which can be effective at distance. And finally you’ve got the Six Shooter, which can unload rounds quickly at close range, or be used as a distance weapon like the Hand Cannon for single fire shots.

That’s everything you need to know to complete all Fortnite Season 6 week 5 challenges. For more tips, tricks, and information on the current season, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 6 wiki.
