First off, you’re going to need to catch a fish. We recommend heading to Craggy Cliffs for this challenge, as there are plenty of fishing spots nearby, and you can grab a fishing rod from one of the many barrels inside the buildings here.

Once you’ve got a fishing rod, head to the north shore and look out for fishing spots. Cast your rod into the fishing spot, and then press RT/R2/ LMB to reel in your fish when you’ve got a bite.

Now pick up the fish and select it from your inventory. This will make your character hold it in their hands. Now all you need to do is press the ADS button (L2/ LT/ RMB) and aim into the water. Press the fire button (RT/R2/ LMB) to throw the fish back into the water in Fortnite. Easy!
