Fortnite Season 5  welcomes a variety of new challenges and rewards that will keep Battle Pass owners plenty busy. Over the course of the season we’ll be putting together guides with all you need to know to get all those cosmetic goodies you’ve got your eyes on. Rewards this season can be unlocked per tier that you earn or purchase, but gaining XP is how you get the most out of your Season 5 experience.

There’s a lot that goes into leveling up your character in Fortnite. As you continue to play and complete challenges you earn stars to increase your Battle Pass tier. You can of course buy each Battle Pass tier to obtain a lot of the new items in Season 5. However, if you want to fully upgrade costumes and get those sick pickaxes? You’ll have to get to playing and gain as much XP as you possibly can.

The 200,000 XP milestone is a pretty big deal. If you’ve taken up the Tier 1 Drift skin, 200,000 XP will net you the full set. You will then be able to rock your way through Season 5 with a kitsune (Japanese fox) mask and the Rift Edge pickaxe.  You will also find yourself almost halfway through the full tier 100 Ragnarok set sitting pretty at level 3 of the set.

So what level should you expect to be to hit the 200,000 XP mark? Getting to level 55 will net you approximately 198750 XP. Getting between levels 55 and 56 will be your goal to achieve the 200,000 XP mark. According to Epic Games, it will take 75-100 hours to fully obtain everything in Season 5. If you’re looking to make things easier you can certainly spend the v-bucks to speed along the process.
