Five Nights TD End Game/Support Unit Tier List

S+ Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Astral Bonnie — Astral Bonnie is a continuous splash/slow unit with insane DPS and arguably the best utility in the game. It’s also the only Apex rarity unit in FNTD, making her really expensive.
  • Valkyrie Prime — Valkyrie Prime has several times more DPS than Valkyrie Chica, making her by far the best single-target DPS in Five Nights TD.
  • RWQFSFASXC — RWQFSFASXC is Shadow Bonnie but giga OP. Her damage is simply broken, making her arguably the strongest unit in the game right now.
  • Goliath Endo Freddy — GEF’s insanely high placement cost is well-warranted. It has a very good range, full AoE, and one of the highest base damage numbers in the whole game. It’s simply too OP.
  • Nightmarionne — Nightmarionne has lower DPS than GEF, but her range is absolutely broken. Depending on the map, she can even outperform GEF.

S Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Nautic Crusher Mangle — The Nautic Crusher Mangle is a huge upgrade over the Leviathan Mangle, with a much higher DPS, more placement, and longer range. However, the recipe to craft it requires so many materials that you’ll need to spend hours farming them.
  • Agonized Springtrap — Agonized Springtrap is one of the best evolutions in the game. It has a Pierce attack and insane DPS. However, Fractured Bonnie outperforms it against single entities.
  • Limitless Shadow — Limitless Shadow is insanely OP. It has a cone AoE attack with 10K damage when fully upgraded. Plus, its SPA is fairly short for that kind of damage. The only downside is its somewhat low range.
  • Its Me — Its Me is a straight-up better version of Rave Demon Bonnie. Plus, it has only one placement, making it extremely money-efficient.
  • Outlaw Freddy — Outlaw Freddy has the DPS of a continuous unit but with a splash attack. Plus, it has a very good range. It’s among the most broken units in the game right now.
  • Glitched Puppeteer — Glitched Puppeteer is a late-game version of Scott. It has an amazing range, one of the highest DPSs in the game, and a 3-placement limit. It’s simply broken.
  • Bomber Boy — Bomber Boy’s recipe is disgusting, and few people will evolve it. Still, its DPS, range, and splash radius can make it worth it.
  • Reactor Freddy — Reactor Freddy is almost the same as Astral Bonnie, though all his stats are a bit lower. Still, he is one of the best units you can get right now.
  • Hydra Mangle — Hydra Mangle rains napalm on your enemies at an insane rate. Not only does it have insane DPS, but its attack is also AoE and applies burn on-hit.

A Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Master Puppeteer — Don’t let Master Puppeteer’s stats fool you, as its attacks have a DoT effect that multiplies its DPS tenfold. It’s a very solid unit overall.
  • Nightmare Mangle — Nightmare Mangle has a big AoE attack, poison, solid DPS, and a placement count of 3. Its only weakness is its very low range, but you can increase it with supports and enchants.
  • Springtrap — Springtrap is a pretty strong Pierce unit. It has insane DPS and fires five piercing projectiles per attack. The biggest drawback is that she has only 2 maximum placement.
  • Valkyrie Chica — Valkyrie Chica is still a pretty viable single-target DPS. Plus, she is very cheap to place and upgrade.
  • Endo 05 — Endo 05 can stun and deal solid damage. However, he also has a high cooldown, diminishing the value of its stun.
  • Fractured Bonnie — Fractured Bonnie is among the best evolutions in FNTD right now. It has extremely good DPS and range. However, it has a fairly high cost.
  • Gunslinger Endo — Gunslinger Endo has one of the highest single-target DPSs in FNTD. Plus, its cheap upgrades make it viable even for the mid-game. The only downside is its low range.
  • Nightmare Bonnie — Nightmare Bonnie has one of the highest single-target DPSs in FNTD. However, you’ll need something to increase her range and make her broken.
  • Circus Baby — Circus Baby can stun enemies with her splash attacks, which can be extremely useful. However, her long cooldown is preventing her from being a really top-tier unit.

B Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Shadow Bonnie — Shadow Bonnie is an almost 50% stronger version of Blighted Endo Freddy, though with a shorter range. It also has a very high cost, but that won’t be a problem in Endless.
  • Phantom Mangle — Single-target DPS-wise, Phantom Mangle is pretty solid. But it’s still far from being as good as Valkyrie Chica and others.
  • Leviathan Mangle — Leviathan Mangle is a pretty solid Pierce unit. It’s perfect for dealing with multiple enemies, and its single-target DPS isn’t too shabby, either.
  • Wraith Freddy — Wraith Freddy is an insanely good full AoE unit. His DPS matches that of Withered Endo Freddy, and you get one more placement. The only downside is its relatively short range.
  • Tuned Mangle — Tuned Mangle is better than regular Mangle but still far from being OP. The best thing about it is its big splash AoE.
  • Spectral Chica — Spectral Chica is several times better than Phantom Chica and has a high DPS and range.
  • Abyssal Foxy — Abyssal Foxy’s slow is the only thing making it somewhat viable. Otherwise, there are better DPS units you can use.
  • Tangle — Tangle got nerfed big time and it’s now a pretty mediocre end-game unit. Still, you can get it for free through the Battlepass.
  • Nightmare — Nightmare has a big AoE and poison. However, its DPS is not high enough to make it a top-tier tower.

C Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Blighted Endo Freddy — Blighted Endo Freddy is a full AoE unit with good range and solid DPS for a full AoE unit. However, its performance is barely better than that of Marionette, making it a questionable investment.
  • Marionette’s Puppeteer — Marionette’s Puppeteer is very viable if you’re on a budget. It has high AoE DPS when fully upgraded, though it has a relatively low range.
  • Bounded Shadow — Stats-wise, Bounded Shadow is one of the better Pierce towers in FNTD due to its DPS. However, the low range and only 2 maximum placements balance it out.
  • Withered Bonnie — Withered Bonnie is basically a single-target, long-range version of Shadow Freddy. Her stats are a bit worse than those of other end-game units. However, you can get her relatively cheaply, making her a solid overall investment.
  • Plane Boy — Plane Boy is one of the most expensive units to place in Five Nights TD. The range and DPS it has are good. However, the 2 placement count makes it straight-up worse than Phantom Mangle and the like.
  • Enforcer Bonnie — Enforcer Bonnie is basically the same as Valkyrie Chica, though it has worse stats. However, you can also pull it with a 5x higher probability than Chica, bringing its price down.
  • Phantom Puppet — Phantom Puppet is a worse and more expensive version of Leviathan Mangle.

D Tier End Game FNTD Units

  • Phantom Chica — When fully upgraded, Phantom Chica is not that horrible. She has a low cooldown, big AoE explosions, and okayish damage. Consider her a much better version of Mangle, though still subpar compared to other end-game units.
  • Phantom Freddy — Low placement count, DPS, and range make Phantom Freddy pretty underwhelming for a $15K unit. I think it’ll need some buffs to rank higher.
  • Shadow Freddy — The low total DPS and AoE range make Shadow Freddy a very bad option compared to Shadow Bonnie or Blighted Endo Freddy.
  • Mangle — Mangle’s DPS, range, and explosion radius are all just bad. I can’t see why you would use it over any other late-game unit except for Puppet, maybe.
  • Puppet — I don’t know why the devs would bother rebalancing it so many times just to make it atrociously bad. It has one of the lowest DPSs of all units in the game, so unless you want your hair to start going gray right now, avoid it and get something better.

Support Five Nights Units Tier List

  • Music Man — Music Man reduces the cooldowns of nearby units, which is extremely useful, especially for units that apply some sort of debuff.
  • Fredbear — Fredbear is basically a much better version of Hawaii Endo 02. The range boost is better, and you can also place 1 more of him.
  • Spring Bonnie — Spring Bonnie is just a bit stronger version of Endo. You can use them both for endless runs.
  • Ballora — Ballora has basically the same stats as Music Man. However, her cooldown reduction effect is slightly weaker.
  • Maestro Puppet — Maestro Puppet is almost the same as Fredbear, though its stats are a tiny bit lower. Plus, it’s super easy to get.
  • Plushtrap — Plushtrap is another range buffer that works as well as other meta supports. You can’t really go wrong with it.
  • Hawaii Endo 02 — More range means more uptime for your DPS units. He is pretty solid and cheap to get.
  • Endo — Endo is a damage-boosting support that’s really good for endless. However, Spring Bonnie is just better.
  • The Crying Child — The Crying Child is Amalgam on steroids, though you’ll want its shiny version. It slows enemies in a cone by 50%, and you can place two of them, making it OP for endless.
  • Amalgam — Amalgam is the second slow unit introduced to FNTD. It is basically worthless, as having more DPS is straight-up better than having its garbage slow.
  • Fazcade — Fazcade is the first money-farming unit in the game and is absolutely useless in any game mode. It might even be the worst unit on this whole Five Nights TD tier list.

Five Nights TD Mid Game Unit Tier List

S+ Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Animdude — Animdude is a massive upgrade over Scott. However, his upgrades are expensive, and the recipe to craft him requires resources you might want to spend on a different evolution.
  • Galleon Foxy — Galleon Foxy’s damage is one of the best mid-game units in FNTD, and the fact that it can slow enemies with its splash attack makes it even stronger.
  • Circuit Breaker Freddy — Circuit Breaker Freddy has an insanely good single-target DPS, making it a really solid mid-game unit that’s also okay for the end game. Its only downside is its relatively high placement cost.
  • Mendo — Despite its quirky mechanic, Mendo is one of the best mid-game units right now. His DPS is simply broken. However, you can only obtain him from the Premium Battlepass.
  • Bounty Mangle — Bounty Mangle has a massive AoE attack that deals very high damage with a fairly low cooldown. Plus, it has 30 maximum range without any multipliers and farms gold. It’s one of the best mid-game units right now.
  • Flame Empress Chica — Empress is very OP for a mid-game unit. She has good range, placement count, cooldown, and damage. Plus, her attacks are splash burn, increasing her effective DPS further.

S Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Scott — Scott is one of the most OP mid-game unit in Five Nights TD. It has insane damage, splash, and range, and also 6 upgrade levels. It’s designed so it can solo carry you, and it definitely will.
  • Phantom Balloon Boy — Phantom Balloon Boy’s damage, range, and AoE are massive. He is a really solid pick for the mid-game. However, his upgrades cost a lot.
  • War Machine Foxy — War Machine Foxy is one of the best mid-game units. The combination of its very high stats and low placement count is just perfect; it means that you can place and upgrade it extremely quickly and cheaply, allowing you to transition to your most expensive units much earlier.
  • Blindeye Foxy — Blindeye Foxy has amazing DPS and can slow units with its attack. It’s extremely useful for dealing with bosses.
  • Lolbit — Lolbit is a stun unit with fairly decent DPS. However, you can place only two of them. Unless you have other good units to make its stun worth it, don’t use it.
  • Endo 04 — Endo 04 has a cone AoE burn attack, making him solid for dealing with packs. However, he is straight-up worse than Flame Empress Chica.
  • Rave Demon Bonnie — Rave Demon Bonnie actually has pretty respectable DPS. However, the cone AoE and relatively short range make it slightly worse than other top-tier mid-game units.
  • Funtime Freddy — Funtime Freddy is arguably the best epic DPS unit. It has a splash attack with a good radius, excellent DPS, and decent range. The only downside is its relatively high placement and upgrade cost.

A Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Slick Bonnie — Slick Bonnie is a toned-down version of Bounty Mangle with a lower cost, range, and DPS. However, it’s still pretty strong for the mid-game.
  • Nightmare Fredbear — Nightmare Fredbear is a solid mid-game unit. However, War Machine Foxy and other S-tier units are just straight-up better.
  • Sentinel Bonnie — Sentinel Bonnie is a downgraded version of War Machine Foxy. Still, it’s pretty strong for the mid-game.
  • Rocketeer Mangle — Rocketeer Mangle has one of the best DPSs of all explosion units. However, its low range tanks its rank quite a bit.
  • Withered Golden Freddy — Withered Golden Freddy might even be better than Sentinel Bonnie. Because it has a higher placement count, its total DPS is higher. However, you’ll also need to invest more money to realize its potential.
  • Phantom Golden Freddy — Phantom Golden Freddy is a slightly worse version of Withered Golden Freddy.
  • Endo 03 — Endo 03 got buffed recently, and he is pretty viable now. He has a placement count of 4 and solid single-target DPS.

B Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Algae Fredbear — Algae Fredbear is another tuned-down version of Withered Golden Freddy. It’s pretty solid despite it only having 3 max placements.
  • Withered Freddy — Withered Freddy is a continuous unit with solid DPS and a placement count of 3. However, the high upgrade costs make it a suboptimal option compared to some of the other mid-game units.
  • Mercenary Foxy — Mercenary Foxy is really cheap to place and upgrade. Plus, the relatively low base damage is compensated for by the fact that you can place 4 of them. Overall, it’s a pretty solid mid-game unit.
  • Nightmare Foxy — Nightmare Foxy is comparable to PBB. It has similar damage but with a lower cooldown and longer range. It also has a smaller AoE.
  • Artillery Puppet — Artillery Puppet is a long-range explosion unit with high base damage but a bad cooldown. It’s pretty good if you have no other AoE.
  • Hooligan Toy Bonnie — Hooligan Toy Bonnie does have a wide AoE splash attack with solid DPS, but it can’t compete with the top-tier mid-game units.
  • Glitched Cupcake — Glitched Cupcake is full AoE with a solid DPS. However, it has a fairly low range. It just isn’t good enough compared to other mid-game units.

C Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Seven Seas Foxy — Seven Seas Foxy is a toned-down version of Leviathan Mangle, though it has a longer range. He is useful in the mid-game for dealing with mobs.
  • Bonnie — Bonnie is basically a higher-range, lower-DPS Withered Freddy. It also has a higher placement and upgrade cost, making it even less worth using.
  • Nightmare Balloon Boy — NBB is pretty underwhelming for a mythic unit. He has Pierce, but considering his low DPS and range, he is simply not viable compared to other mid/early game units.
  • Coco Boy — Coco Boy is better than Balloon Boy, but not by much. The explosion radius redeems it a bit.
  • Nightmare Cupcake — Nightmare Cupcake’s biggest weakness is that she is a single-target DPS. She just isn’t viable in her current state.
  • Withered Foxy — Withered Foxy used to be the meta way back. Now, it’s overshadowed by all the better mid-game units. You can also use it as a starter, but there are better options there as well.

D Tier Mid Game FNTD Units

  • Cupcake Tank — Cupcake Tank does absolutely nothing. Its summons are so irrelevant I had to put it in a separate tier.
  • Balloon Boy — Balloon Boy is basically Toy Chica but with a four times higher price tag. He is arguably the worst thing in Five Nights TD.
  • Golden Freddy — Golden Freddy just has too low of a DPS and too high of a cost to be useful.
  • Nightmare Chica — Nightmare Chica’s high cost, low range, and relatively low DPS make it really bad for mid-game. Still, she isn’t as bad as Golden Freddy and the like.
  • Toy Chica — Toy Chica just has too low of a range and total DPS to be competitive. She is among the worst units on this Five Nights TD tier list.

Five Nights TD Early Game (Starter) Unit Tier List

S+ Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Fortified Endo 02 — Fortified Endo 02 is among the best DPSs of all starter units in FNTD. However, his recipe is really expensive, and spending those resources on other evolutions might be better.
  • Phone Guy — Phone Guy is full AoE with amazing DPS and range. Plus, he slows enemies, making him almost as good as The Crying Child, even for the end game.
  • Purple Guy — Purple Guy is one of the best new starter units. It spawns turrets which have amazing range and damage.
  • Tarnished Spring Bonnie — Tarnished Spring Bonnie might be melee, but her damage and range are actually insane. However, acquiring her is much harder than Patriot Freddy or Witch Toy Chica.
  • Jackpot Freddy — Jackpot Freddy is one of the best starters right now. He deals solid damage and earns money. However, you’ll need something to increase his range and make him really good.

S Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Elizabeth — Elizabeth is a splash slow unit with amazing DPS and solid range. Plus, her upgrades are dirt cheap.
  • Freddle — Freddle is better than Commando Endo but not enough to be a top-tier starter. His cooldown is simply too high.
  • Witch Toy Chica — Witch Toy Chca is one of the best starters in FNTD. She is cheap and can deal with both bosses and mobs reliably.
  • Tavern Chica — Tavern Chica is pretty OP for a starter. She has good damage, range, and a wide AoE splash attack.
  • Bonnet — Bonnet is a splash type with pretty good range and DPS. Also, he is extremely cheap to place and upgrade, making him extremely good for the Story.
  • Phantom Foxy — Phantom Foxy is a cheap, 4-placement single-target DPS that is very good for the early game.

A Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Phantom Cupcake — Phantom Cupcake has one of the highest DPSs of all starters. He is just really solid.
  • Patriot Freddy — Patriot Freddy is an ultra-cheap early-game explosion unit. He is just a great starter for dealing with big waves.
  • Endo 02 — Endo 02 has a good range and good single-target DPS. However, Phantom Foxy is just straight-up better.
  • Commando Endo — Commando Endo’s DPS is sub-par. However, his summons can attack and deal reasonable damage, making him viable.
  • Rad Freddy — Rad Freddy is just a straight-up better version of Sniper Cupcake. It basically has double the DPS, with other stats being very similar. He is great for the early game.
  • Nightmare Freddy — Nightmare Freddy is very similar to Phantom Foxy. It has solid single-target DPS, though with a low range. He is good for those early compact story stages.
  • Funtime Foxy — Funtime Foxy is a splash unit with okayish DPS. Her range is also pretty good.
  • Cowboy Freddy — Cowboy Freddy has a really good range and DPS. The only downside is that he is a single-type unit.

B Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Rockin Bonnie — Rocking Bonnie looks good on paper with her full AoE. However, there are better starters than her.
  • Pirate Withered Foxy — Pirate Withered Foxy is similar to Major Freddy. He is good as a starter, but his DPS isn’t that impressive.
  • Vendor Toy Chica — Vendor Toy Chica is a worse version of Patriot Freddy. Still, she is pretty solid for the early waves.
  • Buccaneer Foxy — Buccaneer Foxy is basically the new Freddy. It has a high placement count and better damage, CD, and range than regular old Freddy. It’s pretty solid for the early game.
  • Major Freddy — Major Freddy is a solid starter single DPS with 4 placements. He also has a good range.
  • Freddy — Regular Freddy is not the worst starter you can use. His high placement count and low upgrade costs are just awesome.

C Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Baker Toy Chica — Baker Toy Chica is an explosion unit that is all right if you’re just starting out the game.
  • Party Chica — Party Chica’s only redeeming quality is that it can deal splash damage. Otherwise, her stats are simply garbage.
  • Withered Chica — Withered Chica is barely better than Toy Bonnie. Just don’t use her.
  • Sniper Cupcake — The very high range of Sniper Cupcake compensates for its low DPS. However, the 3 placement count is kind of bad.
  • Chica — Chica is an explosion unit with a low attack speed. Use her only for the early game and when dealing with a lot of weak enemies.

D Tier Starter FNTD Units

  • Toy Bonnie — Toy Bonnie’s stats are just all bad. It’s arguably the worst epic unit on our Five Nights TD tier list.
  • Toy Freddy — Toy Freddy is very bad overall. His range is low, and his DPS is just 20 on placement.
  • Summer Toy Bonnie — Despite being able to slow, Summer Toy Bonny is just bad. You’re much better off equipping a normal starter instead of her.
  • Foxy — Foxy is melee, which is detrimental in a TD game. I simply can’t see him being used at all.

That about does it for our Five Nights TD tier list. If you want to stay up-to-date with the meta in FNTD, be sure to bookmark this post, as we’ll be updating it whenever there’s an update—that is, after we’ve tested the new units, of course.

Also, if you want to try out some other strategy-filled Roblox experiences, I recommend Anime Defenders and Anime Impact. The latter even blends JRPG elements with modern TD gameplay. Moreover, it features solo and duo PvP, making the game extremely competitive, and if you dig that, it’s a must-try.
