Getting Renown in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes

There are two main ways of getting Renown in the game, and we’ve listed them down below:

  • By completing main story battles
  • By doing chores via the Chore Master NPC

There is one main story battle in every chapter of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and you’ll be rewarded with a small amount of Renown for clearing it.

In between battles, you can also return to camp and spend activity points by speaking with the Chore Master. All you have to do is pick a chore to do, and pick two other characters to do them with you. This will raise the support ranks between all three characters, their morale, and also reward you with a few Renown points.

Of course, the number of chores you can perform is limited by how many activity points you have available to you. Activity points are refreshed between chapters, and you can also get a few back by liberating regions on the map.

What Renown Does in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes

While at camp, head over to Shez’s Personal Quarters and interact with the desk. From here, choose the Spend Renown option to bring up a list of things you can purchase with all the Renown points you’ve accrued so far.

During your first playthrough, you’ll only be able to purchase permanent stat-boosting items like Energy Drops and Seraph Robes. However, once you beat the game and start new game plus (or reload your final save file), you can use your Renown to unlock playable characters and special weapons.

Listed below are all the characters you can unlock with Renown:

  • Byleth
  • Sothis
  • Rhea

And here are all the special weapons you can unlock with Renown:

  • Sword of the Creator

It’s worth noting that your Renown points will be carried over to new game plus, so even if you don’t have enough to purchase everything in one go, you can always start a new game to get more points.

That’s all you need to know about how to get and use Renown in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
