Skills – Danganronpa 1.2 Reload

Skills in Danganronpa 1.2 Reload won’t benefit you in all aspects of the game. In fact, their buffs are limited to the class trials where the bulk of the gameplay in both Trigger Happy Havoc and Goodbye Despair take place. As such, you’ll want to get as many skills as possible to bolster your chances of success when the pressure is on to solve the case.

Getting skills in Danganronpa 1.2 Reload is a little different depending on which game you play. Trigger Happy Havoc requires you to talk to the other students during ‘Free Time’ and give them gifts that they’ll like. In doing so, you’ll advance your friendship, and the closer you get to a student, the more skills you can get from them. If you want an idea on how to get all skills in Trigger Happy Havoc, check out our extensive character-by-character guide, here.

In Goodbye Despair, however, there are three ways for you to get skills. First, you can get them from Monomi via her face in the e-handbook’s report card option. There are 19 you can purchase from Monomi this way, but you’ll need to have enough Hope Fragments for each one.

Next up, you can get a couple through your pet in Goodbye Despair. These will be unlocked when certain spoiler-y objectives regarding your pet are completed, but we won’t divulge this information here for the sake of spoilers.

Finally, you’ve got a bunch of skills which can be acquired through collecting Hope Fragments from fellow students and filling out their Report Cards. This is the same way that you got them in Trigger Happy Havoc, so just be a friendly fellow student and you’ll earn these naturally.

That’s all you need to do to get these helpful buffs in Danganronpa 1.2 Reload. For more tips, tricks, and information for the game, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
