The META weapons of Warzone 2 are getting left behind by players picking up the newer models. But we are here to remind you that these weapons are still strong enough to make waves. So here is our best RPK loadout in Warzone and MW3.

Best RPK Attachments

The RPK is an old-generation LMG and it shows especially when compared with higher-damage weapons like the Pulemyot 762 or more accurate ones like the Holger 26. This old dog doesn’t bring anything that stands out to the table. That isn’t to say the RPK isn’t a good weapon, on the contrary, it has perfectly good accuracy and a decent damage range that will only increase with attachments.

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: TAC 597 Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5X
  • Ammunition: 7.62 Overpressured

As is standard for Warzone, we want to increase our damage and damage range to stay competitive in the long sightlines of Urzikstan. For this reason, we have the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor for some range and keep ourselves off the minimap. We also have the TAC 597 Barrel and 7.62 Overpressured ammunition for some extra bite to our shots.

To keep the RPK as accurate as possible we use the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip to control this LMG and finally, we use the Corio Eagleseye 2.5X for a clean optic.

Best RPK Perks

Our perks are recommended for Warzone in general and are mostly irrelevant to the weapon you’re using. Here we detail our all-around perk package for any player.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Sleight of Hand is perfect for an LMG player, allowing you to reload your giant magazine with lightning speed. In perk slot 2 we have Double Time, an absolute must-have in Warzone as mobility will save your life and get you into a fight quicker.

Tempered offers us a unique ability to plate up 33% quicker than opponents which can be the absolute difference between life or death. Finally, High Alert protects you from the enemy squad’s aiming at the back of your skull while simultaneously giving you information on their whereabouts.

Best RPK Attachments

The RPK has always been a fast-paced LMG and sports some of the highest mobility of the class but in today’s META it isn’t enough. With players sliding, diving, and ducking across the maps, we have to address the mobility issues with this class of weaponry.

  • Muzzle: Bore-490
  • Barrel: KAS-7 406MM Barrel
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5X
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip

Due to some changes in our attachments the RPK begins to kick harder and controlling the recoil gets a bit tedious, so to compensate we use the Bore-490 muzzle to reduce the gun kick. The KAS-7 Barrel is the first of our attachments that directly buffs how quickly we can ADS to keep up with the mobility META.

One buff isn’t enough to give an LMG speed so we also use the FSS OLE-V Laser and the True-Tac Grip to ensure we can fight speedier opponents. Finally, we use the Corio Eagleseye 2.5X as our prefered optic.

Best RPK Perks

Since the RPK is an LMG we want to focus on equipping body gear that will help strengthen our mobility weakness.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Stalker Boots
  • Gear: EOD Padding

The Infantry Vest offers our LMG a mobility option by increasing Tac Sprint duration and recharge time while Quick-Grip gloves negate a big weakness of the LMG class, allowing us to switch to our secondary when the big gun isn’t needed. For another increase to our mobility we use the Stalker Boots for faster ADS strafing. EOD Padding protects us from frags and killstreaks attempting to flush us out, allowing you to take more punishment than anyone else.

That’s everything you need to know about the best RPK loadouts for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. We will, of course, be updating this page as the META shifts and weapons rise and fall, so check back soon!
