10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting No Man’s Sky

You still have a chance.

In the beautiful galaxy of No Man’s Sky, there are tons of way you can loose track of time. Whether it be, exploring the vast open-world all given to you from the very start or learning a new language of a species you just discovered, No Man’s Sky doesn’t fail to entertain.

Early on in the game, it will take you a while to destroy terrain and collect resources. If you install the Beam Intensifier Stigma, it will reduce its time massively.

Your jetpack will be your best friend in every sense of the meaning. You will use to get to higher ground levels and to traverse around the map at an accelerated rate.

Don’t be shy to blast your weapon, destroying all nearby terrain will allow you to get a bunch of materials early on in the game.

Early in the “tutorial”, you might feel that you are being tossed at a bunch of stats. Best advice, read them all. This will familiarize you with materials and how the game operates early on.

As you begin to familiarize yourself with the planets and what they have to offer, you will come across wildlife. There’s really no need to harm them if they aren’t bothering you, it’s not like they give you anything.
