Meet the Voice Actors of Fallout 76’s Voice Cast

Fallout 76

Fallout 76 might have evolved from a single-player to MMORPG, but you’ll still find it’s a fair story-driven game. As a result, there’s still a hefty voice actor and voice cast in Fallout 76. The big difference is that quests and the general flow of the game’s narrative comes by way of audio tapes.

Notably, Todd Howard confirmed the game has more lines of dialogue than Fallout 4, which may come as a bit of a surprise. So let’s dive into the actors behind the various voices that bring Fallout 76’s story to life.

Adrienne Jo Barbeau – Overseer

Adrienne Jo Barbeau is an American actress and author best known for her roles on the TV series Maude (1972) and in horror films, especially those directed by John Carpenter, with whom she was once married. You might remember her from the cult film Escape from New York, that served as a big inspiration for Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series. Barbeau has also voiced characters in video game series such as God of War, Hitman, and Mad Max.

Kaiji Tang – Male Character

Kaiji Tang plays the default voice for a male character build in the game. He brings a wealth of voice acting experience to the role, and you’re sure to recognize his voice from a host other performances. Tang has played characters across the games industry’s most iconic franchises, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Valkyrie Chronicles, and SoulCalibur. He’s also starred in lots of anime shows, like Danganronpa.

Linsay Rousseau – Female Character

Linsay Rousseau is a seasoned actor, voice-over artist, and singer. She spent several decades performing on stage before making the transition to voice-over and on-camera work. Most of her work is in television, and Fallout 76 is only her second performance in the games industry.

Ray Chase – Grahm

Ray Chase is best known for his versatility as a voice actor in video games and animation. Video game fans know him as the lead protagonist Noctis in Final Fantasy XV, and Marlon from The Walking Dead. Superhero fans might recognize his voice from the DC feature film Justice League Dark, in which he played Jason Blood and Etrigan the Demon. He plays the traveling super mutant merchant Grahm in Fallout 76.

Wes Johnson – Vendor Bot Bob

Wes Johnson plays the Vendor Bot Bob, a volunteer bot, is a protectron operating at the Responders camp in Flatwoods, West Virginia in 2102. He returns to Fallout once again having voiced characters in previous games of the series, such as Fawkes in Fallout 3. Johnson also draws on film and TV experience, having appeared in John Waters’ A Dirty Shame, Head of State, and the Nicole Kidman thriller The Invasion.

Fallout fans will be happy to her the voice of Stephan Russel. He’s featured in almost every Fallout game ever made, having played Harold in Fallout 2, Enclave troopers and the Mister Handy robots in Fallout 3. In Fallout 4, he was also the voice of Mister Handy robots (including Codsworth), but is better remembered for his part as synth detective Nick Valentine. He reprises his role as a Mister Handy Robot in Fallout 76, this time called Pennington.

Chip Joslin – Grahm

Chip Joslin plays an alternate voice for Grahm. He’s a native of Texas, and is well-known for playing quirky characters. On TV, he’s played everything from characters like a young Amish Man on Cold Case to a German brain surgeon who is a wanna-be rapper; his most recent video game role was the Evil Spirit in Resident Evil VII.

That does it for the voice actors and voice casts in Fallout 76. For more on the game, check out the load time speed comparison with the previous game, and our wiki guide for more information.
