All Destiny 2 Reworked Exotics Coming in Season 3 (Warmind) That We Know So Far

Graviton Lance

Graviton Lance

Perhaps the most obvious, and impactful change will be to the Graviton Lance which is getting a huge boost in both PvP and PvE. It’s time to kill (TTK) has been greatly reduced. It’s now a two shot burst, but on kills it will release a void explosion that should be great for clearing out packs of thrall.

Rat King

The Rat King is getting a couple of different changes. First, everyone won’t need to have it actively held to get the group buffs while using it, just having it equipped is enough. Also, it’s being changed to fully automatic to ensure you get the most out of its perks always, and the base invisibility time will be increased.

Skyburner’s Oath

Skyburner’s Oath was already a pretty strong gun, but the exotic weapon sandbox changes are taking it to another level. While aiming down the sights (ADS) it will shoot slow powerful shots that now have explosive rounds. When hip firing, it lobs out almost grenade launcher like shots that have moderate tracking capabilities.

Hardlight

Hard Light has always looked cool but it was always difficult to get the most out of its ricochet perks. That part isn’t changing but if you do land ricochet shots you’re going to be heavily rewarded as they will now do double damage. Also, you’ll be able to change ammo types by holding the reload button down.

Tractor Cannon

The Tractor Cannon is definitely getting a change, however we haven’t heard officially how exactly it will work, we’ve only been able to observe a video from their official Twitter that shows it. It appears that the Tractor Cannon will now enhance all void damage to a target after hitting it, with a tether like effect.

Fighting Lion

The Fighting Lion, a meme gun for most of its history, will hopefully get the change its been waiting for. It’s getting more ammo, and its damage is being shifted towards being more heavily weighted to the detonation rather than the grenade impact. However grenade impact kills will always drop energy weapon ammo.

Riskrunner

Riskrunner when the conditions are right, is an incredible gun, especially for PvE. Bungie is hoping that these sandbox buffs will make it stronger in all game modes. Now you only need to have Riskrunner equipped to trigger the overdrive perk. You’ll get a notification to let you know that it’s time to switch back over to the Riskrunner and take advantage of its power. It’s also getting more arc damage resistance while equipped with the perk active.

Crimson

Crimson isn’t getting a flashy change, but it will benefit from more ammo and better time to kill stats.

Sturm/Drang

These two will continue to be paired together after the sandbox changes. Bonus rounds added to Sturm from Drang will now do significantly more damage.
