CD Projekt Red replied to a fan‘s email stating the team currently didn’t have plans to bring a PS4 Pro patch to The Witcher 3. Instead, the teams are hard at work on GWENT, and Cyberpunk 2077.

This week saw Capcom release a new and updated version of the Resident Evil 7 ‘Beginning Hour’ demo. Titled Twilight, the update will open the demo up to all PlayStation users regardless of Plus status. It also changes a couple of things in the mansion, and you can check out all the secrets you might have missed here.

During an interview with Game Informer, Guerrilla Games Lead Writer John Gonzalez revealed new details on Horizon Zero Dawn’s protagonist, Aloy. A central quest to find out about Aloy’s absent parents will underpin the story. You can read up on all of it here.

During an interview with Gamespot, Bungie staff said that the team has no plans for a Destiny PS4 Pro patch, though did say they would look at it in the future.

Thursday brought the unfortunate news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole had been delayed until sometime in early 2017. No set release date was given.

Based on current tests, it looks like Dishonored fans will get to sink their teeth into a 16-20 hour experience in Dishonored 2. The news was confirmed by the game’s Director via his Twitter, where he also revealed the team was originally aiming at 12-20 hours.

This week saw The BioShock Collection bring beautiful remasters of all three games to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While there has yet to be any technical issues with the console versions, the PC remasters, which came as a free update, brings a combination of both old and new bugs to the games.

Thursday saw the release of a trailer for the second episode of Batman and Bruce Wayne’s Telltale adventure. “Still reeling from the disturbing revelations regarding his legacy, Bruce plunges into the depths of his memory in search of clarity,” Telltale’s description reads.

Fans of the BioShock series may be saddened to hear the news that the series’ Creator, Ken Levine, made a Zelda-style game that never saw the light of day. Read more on why it was canned here.

You read that right, a new Pokemon animated series is coming to YouTube. It starts today and will conclude December 23, 2016. The series will look into the harder stories behind the famous Pokemon games. Watch the action-packed trailer here..

In an interview with Marketplace, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said that there will always be Call of Duty, even if the platforms they release on change.

At the TechCrunch conference in San Francisco, Niantic CEO John Hanke revealed the team is working on creating events that will introduce Pokemon generations outside of the current gen one set. The current content is just “the tip of the iceberg,” Hanke added.

Tuesday saw Sega reveal the contents of the Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition. It includes a 12″ statue of the blue hedgehog, a replicate Sega Genesis console with its Sega startup audio, a collector’s card with a download key for the game, and a Sega Genesis cartridge cast containing a golden ring.

Hideo Kojima took the stage at PlayStation’s TGS conference to give a brief explanation of his upcoming game, Death Stranding. During the presentation about ropes and circles of friendship, a chibi drawing of what looks like Mads Mikkelson was included alongside Kojima, Reedus, and Guillermo del Toro.

During the same TGS press conference, the Final Fantasy XV Luna Edition PS4 console was revealed. Inspired by Noctis and his frequent gazes into the sky, the system will release the same day as the game.

Specter of Torment was revealed via Yacht Club Games’ Twitter account. Few details have been revealed as of yet, but it’s due to release Spring 2017.

Sony’s TGS press conference on Wednesday also broke the news that Koei Tecmo’s upcoming action RPG Nioh would be releasing worldwide Feb. 9.

Yep, you read that right. Probably the best news of the weeks comes in the form of a rap remix featuring tofubeats, ryo-z, and PEZ. Rapping about the excellent titles coming to the PS4 in the coming months, the rap was the opener to a whole host of TGS announcements. You can check them all out here.
