Lately the word exclusive just hasn’t carried the same weight. With terms like time, console, and platform preceding the world, it often means that an exclusive really isn’t all that exclusive. With that in mind, we’ve decided to take a look at all of the PS4’s true exclusives, games you can’t play anywhere else.

Remember that game Dead Nation? Remember the fun and intensity of being hounded by hundreds of zombies while you and a friend fought through the dark? Well this is that but with aliens, and it’s only on the PS4.

Basement Crawl is a PS4 exclusive indie game from Bloober Team. It’s an action game that placed players in mazes where they needed to use Bomberman like gameplay to survive. Unfortunately, it ended up becoming the lowest rated game on the console, sitting at a 27 on Metacritic.

Bloodborne is a new take on the souls series, adding speed and ferocity to the methodical gameplay From Software has come to be known for. While nobody knew what to completely expect, Bloodborne ended up being one of the best games on the PS4 with its twisted monsters and deep lore.

This entry to the tactical-RPG series found its way solely to the PS4. This time, players are thrust into a story full of revenge against a demon emperor who destroyed your world.

Driveclub had a bit of a rough start when it was first released, But over time, this exclusive grew into an amazing racing experience with some of the most beautiful visuals seen in a game.

This standalone expansion to Driveclub takes all of the great driving and beautiful visuals and uses them for superbike racing. A tighter experience and less issues at launch led to this standalone entry being even better received than the original game.

Fat Princess Adventures changed the formula of the series a bit, but still managed to be a solid entry for the PS4.

Guns Up! is a free to play military strategy game exclusive to the PS4. What held it back unfortunately was the pay-to-win feeling it left imprinted on players.

Hardware Rivals is a pretty fun game, unfortunately that fun doesn’t last very long thanks to the lack of meaningful content. However, this multiplayer, vehicular combat game can scratch that tank itch, especially if you’re looking for a mix of fast, fun vehicles to destroy.

Fetch was one of the standout characters in Infamous Second Son, so it was only right that she got her own standalone expansion. While you’re now limited to just Neon, this PS4 exclusive kept things fun and deep with a look into her troubled past.

Infamous Second Son moved beyond Cole and brought us Delsin, a young, brash man with no respect for authority and a huge choice to make. While the binary choices still don’t work very well, there aren’t many super hero games more fun than this PS4 exclusive.

Killzone Shadow Fall was a launch title for the PS4, helping to show off the stunning visuals that the new hardware was capable of. It wasn’t without its issues, but the multiplayer was unique and provided tons of fun.

Knack was another launch title for the PS4, and it was directed by video game legend Mark Cerny. It had that difficulty only found in more classic platformers and beat ’em ups. It didn’t have the best reception, but the beautiful visuals and challenging experience are enough of a reason to give it a try.

Koi is one of those games that is more about the journey and the experience rather than huge set-pieces or anything of that nature. It’s lack of anything bigger has led it to have only a 51 on Metacritic, although its user rating is much higher at a 6.5/10. It’s short, but if you’re looking for a light, pretty experience, the PS4 is the only place to get this one.

Want to play as a group of music idols who save the world? That’s exactly what Omega Quintet provides to players looking for a different type of PS4 exclusive.

Usually remakes and reboots struggle to deliver something as great as the source material, but Ratchet & Clank outdid itself on the PS4. It easily one of the prettiest games of this generation so far, plus it’s a really fun game.

Tearaway proved to be a fun, colorful game on the Vita, so there’s no surprise that Media Molecule and Tarsier Studios decided to build upon that for a vibrant PS4 exclusive.

Shadow of the Beast is another remake on the PS4, but its lack of any meaningful expansion to the original game leave it feeling a bit lackluster.

The Castle Game is a unique take on strategy and tower defense. With each mission, you’re dropped into a sandbox and must decide on how you want to build and maintain your base. Without the rigid restrictions normally placed on tower defense games, there is quite a bit of unprecedented freedom to be enjoyed.

We’ll just give it to your straight, The Order: 1886 is a game that is incredibly beautiful, but seriously lacking on the gameplay front. Ready At Dawn has proven they have what it takes to harness the power of the hardware, so we’ll just chalk up this one as a demo reel. Here’s to hoping that their next PS4 exclusive is cut from a better gameplay cloth.

The Playroom is a fun collection of little games that was released with the PlayStation 4 to show of the new camera’s capabilities. It wasn’t built to win GOTY awards, but if you have a camera and find yourself bored, it’s a fun little diversion.

An amazing close to an amazing series, this year’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a bright feather in the PS4’s cap.

While the trilogy is played on the PS3, the updated collection is only available on the PS4. With Uncharted 4 being recently released, that’s a perfect reason to run through the first games again.

Until Dawn was sort of a surprise. Who knew that a b-rated movie styled game would be such a hit on the PS4?

VEV may not be the most appealing game out there, but it is certainly a PS4 exclusive. Travel through microscopic environments as you fight to survive in your tiny, nanoscale vessel.
