Last year, Epic Games took over a huge part of E3 with the first ever Fortnite Pro-Am. The event broke viewing records, as it was estimated to have gotten over 1.3 million views across multiple streaming platforms.

This accomplishment in and of itself is a noteworthy one especially when coupled with the success and mainstream publicity Fortnite Battle Royale has garnered over the last two years. What makes the publisher a tantalizing possibility to fill the void of Sony’s absence this year though is the potential announcements Epic Games could have up there sleeves.

Whether it is more Fortnite Battle Royale updates, new information on the Epic Games Store, or even trailers for games currently in development (Like Spyjinx), there are few companies that have as much potential to reveal information that is of note to as high a quantity of people at E3 2019.

Love or hate them, there is no denying that Epic Games is deserving of its own spot at E3.

Capcom

There is no doubt that Capcom is going to be at E3 2019, as the company has a ridiculous amount of momentum behind them this year. With two Game of the Year contenders already, the Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5, it is only logical to keep fans excited for the foreseeable future with further big announcements at this year’s show.

What announcements would make Capcom worthy of a top spot though? Considering how much everyone loved Resident Evil 7: Biohazard last year and the Resident Evil 2 remake this year, more Resident Evil content is sure to please fans.

First, there is the possibility of a Resident Evil 3 remake, which has been teased for a while now. Considering the success of the RE2 remake, and its Nemesis-like villain (Mr. X), a remake of the third title in the franchise is almost a foregone conclusion.

There have also been talks of a Resident Evil 8 reveal this year, continuing the soft reboot the company introduced with the Resident Evil 7. While there isn’t much information out there yet, speculation points to a possible return to third-person for the next installment.

Last but not least, Monster Hunter has brand new DLC coming out, which would be a great supplemental piece to go alongside all of the possible. Resident Evil news.

Bandai Namco

Of any of the publishers on this list, Bandai Namco may have the most exciting line-up of games in store for 2019, including a handful that we’ve yet to see any footage from.

Take their upcoming episodic adventure game, Twin Mirror, as an example. Created by Life is Strange developer Dontnod, this game explores the life of Sam, an investigative journalist that has an inner voice, the Double, that can help aid or harm his investigations.

That is just one of the handful of games Bandai has on the docket for 2019. Alongside Twin Mirror, the publisher could show off Tales of Crestoria, Digimon Survive, Code Vein, Dragon Ball Game: Project Z, Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist, Rad, or even more One Piece: World Seeker information.

Any one of these titles is worthy of the spotlight at E3 2019.

Rockstar Games

The caliber of franchises like Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto speak for themselves. These Rockstar Games’ published series always manage to somehow surpass the high expectations set by the previous installments.

More impressive than anything is how dedicated the company is to releasing the games on their terms, with development cycles for each spanning upwards to eight years to complete. As such, it isn’t surprising that the publisher rarely shows up at E3 to announce any of there titles, choosing instead to debut information on their own terms.

With that said, now would be the perfect time to unveil the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. Instead of letting the rumor mill dictate the news surrounding the game, laying out what the game is about, its setting, and changes that can be expected at E3 is sure to steal the show.

Considering it has also already been six years since the release of GTA V, and likely even more time since GTA VI began development, there has also of been plenty of time for Rockstar to perfect the sixth installment in the series.
